Stay Confident with U by Kotex - Even at the Gym!

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group™ and U by Kotex but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #UbyKotex http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

What's that in my cart you ask? Why it's U by Kotex CleanWear Pads and Kotex Sleek Tampons. And the reason I'm so excited to show them off is because each box came with 3 bonus Goody elastic. If you've followed my blog for very long you know how I feel about free goodies. I love them! And right now in select Walmart stores you can get some too, while supplies last of course.  And Walmart just happens to be one of my favorite places to shop because of their everyday low prices. Sounds like a win/win to me.

Now what am I doing you ask? I'm showing off my free Goody elastics of course! Well, and getting ready for the gym. I always like to pull my hair back when going to the gym, and now I have some really cool hair elastics to do just that thanks to my U by Kotex purchases.

The other great thing about the boxes of U by Kotex that I got is that they are wrapped in an extra special way. They come packaged in really pretty (and discrete) wrappers. Right away I put a few of them in one of my little make-up pouches that I like to toss in the bottom of my purse when I know my period is due to pop up at any given moment. I always say you can never be too prepared. Of course when I go to the gym I don't want an extra pouch finding it's way out of my bag when removing my shoes and other necessities. I know I sure don't want to have to explain what all those colored wrappers are inside the little pouch if they fall to the floor.

So I've opted to just tuck one in the side pocket of my gym bag (along side my free Goody elastics of course). What? You can't see the Kotex package? Well let me show you a closer look:

Now do you see it? There in the left side pocket? Yep, there it is nice and discrete just the way I like it. I like to always be prepared, but don't want to feel like I have to be overly cautious when going to the gym to work out.  Especially when I'm headed to meet up with my husband at his work where there are a ton of guys all over the place. I mean what if one popped out when I opened the bag and reached in for my gym shoes?! Oh my gosh would I be red faced. But if this pouch happened to somehow come out of it's tucked in pocket I honestly think I could reach down and pick it up without anyone even knowing that's what it was. It looks almost like a mini tissue packet to me.

The other great thing about the U by Kotex products is the way they fit your body. The CleanWear Pads for instance features a 3D Capture Core that locks away wetness to help stop leaks. Ever been worried about your pad leaking while peddling that extra mile? I know I've had that worry...right alongside the fear of someone behind my treadmill noticing my pad bunching up as I walked my extra mile. Thankfully the CleanWear Pads are designed to move with our bodies and have uniquely shaped wings help prevent bunching. Do you hear that? It's my sigh of relief after finishing my workout. Protected, yet unnoticed by the blind eye that yes, I am on my period at the gym. That's me staying confident thanks to U by Kotex.

CLOSED: Day 14: Food Should Taste Good Review & Giveaway 2/6

I've never tried anything quite as unique as the line of Food Should Taste Good chips. We first opened up the Sweet Potato chips and they were AWESOME! I was pleasantly surprised at the flavor of the chips as well as the overall texture.  They weren't like other chips that can be greasy feeling and super thin.  They were more like a crisp, thick and crunchy. This bag didn't last long once everyone tried them, they were gone in less than an hour. Here are my impressions of the other variates we've tried.

Olive - From the opening of the bag to the actual taste, these are exactly what they say Olive.  I am personally not a fan of any kind of olive so I wasn't thrilled with these. If you like olives then you will probably like these chips too.  Actually my 10yr old son liked these and he doesn't like olives either - so give them a try.
Multigrain - Not what I imagined from the name, I was afraid they would be bland in taste, but they actually had a good flavor with the mixture of seasonings.
Blue Corn - These were great paired with salsa. I am a big fan of Blue Corn for sure.
Cheddar - I am actually eating these right now. So this is first hand information : ) These are great too! Great light cheddar flavor with a hint of other seasonings.

I am really looking forward to trying the Chocolate now!
