What's that in my cart you ask? Why it's U by Kotex CleanWear Pads and Kotex Sleek Tampons. And the reason I'm so excited to show them off is because each box came with 3 bonus Goody elastic. If you've followed my blog for very long you know how I feel about free goodies. I love them! And right now in select Walmart stores you can get some too, while supplies last of course. And Walmart just happens to be one of my favorite places to shop because of their everyday low prices. Sounds like a win/win to me.
Now what am I doing you ask? I'm showing off my free Goody elastics of course! Well, and getting ready for the gym. I always like to pull my hair back when going to the gym, and now I have some really cool hair elastics to do just that thanks to my U by Kotex purchases.
The other great thing about the boxes of U by Kotex that I got is that they are wrapped in an extra special way. They come packaged in really pretty (and discrete) wrappers. Right away I put a few of them in one of my little make-up pouches that I like to toss in the bottom of my purse when I know my period is due to pop up at any given moment. I always say you can never be too prepared. Of course when I go to the gym I don't want an extra pouch finding it's way out of my bag when removing my shoes and other necessities. I know I sure don't want to have to explain what all those colored wrappers are inside the little pouch if they fall to the floor.
So I've opted to just tuck one in the side pocket of my gym bag (along side my free Goody elastics of course). What? You can't see the Kotex package? Well let me show you a closer look:
Now do you see it? There in the left side pocket? Yep, there it is nice and discrete just the way I like it. I like to always be prepared, but don't want to feel like I have to be overly cautious when going to the gym to work out. Especially when I'm headed to meet up with my husband at his work where there are a ton of guys all over the place. I mean what if one popped out when I opened the bag and reached in for my gym shoes?! Oh my gosh would I be red faced. But if this pouch happened to somehow come out of it's tucked in pocket I honestly think I could reach down and pick it up without anyone even knowing that's what it was. It looks almost like a mini tissue packet to me.
