When I first started looking through the Tiny Prints Holiday Card options online the Chalk Crystals: Black Tri-Fold Holiday Cards were the first to catch my eye.  I think it was the tri-fold option that made me stop and look. It's a little more unique than the standard bi-fold card.

Then I came across the Crystal Sequins and Spray of Glitter: Umber Ornament Cards. I am totally in love with these cards because they have an added benefit of being able to be hung on your Christmas tree. Makes for a nice keepsake for years to come.

My Take:

But to my dismay guess what? I've been yet to spill anything on myself since the bar arrived. I guess I should call myself lucky, but I was really hoping to use it to remove a greasy stain or treat an oily stain that I can't normally seem to get completely out with other stain removers. One would think with a 13 and 7 year old I'd have stains pretty much daily. Well, unless I've missed something there hasn't been a single one yet. Guess I'll just have to keep my mommy eyes peeled the next time I do a round of laundry.

I don't think I've ever read or heard about a book written by Max Lucado that wasn't good. And this one is just a testament to that fact.  It's bright and colorful not just on the cover but also on the inside. It's geared towards children 3 and under and is just the right size for their little hands. It's a great book because it's nice and short so you don't lose little ones attention while reading each page.  And the colorful pictures keep them looking at the pages while you read.  The book details how Hermie is thankful for all the blessings God has given him through his life.  What a great reminder for not just little ones but even us as adults too! Yet another great book to add to my library for when little ones come to visit.

Boston-based Lunchbox Buddies has already invaded lunchboxes on the East Coast, and now the wacky lunchbox notes are making their Indianapolis debut! Each packet of 'buddies' features 20 original characters, from Orbit the Space Cadet to Gilbert the Goofball, and a silly accompanying message. Lunchbox Buddies are a quick and easy way for parents to stay connected with their children throughout the day-- even when they can't be by their side 24/7.

Professional designer and father Jim Adorney, the creator of Lunchbox Buddies, will be visiting Mass Ave Toys this Friday, Nov 8, from 4:30-6 p.m. and drawing personalized Lunchbox Buddies for visitors to take home. This event is free to attend, and the product will be for sale as well.

If we didn't already have plans on Friday I would love to attend and get a personalized drawing for my kids. I think these are really cute and kids would love to find them in their lunchboxes. I know anytime I send a packed lunch to school with them I'm always trying to find a creative way to send a note with them.
