HBBevo Bag - Great for Moms on the go!

Before receiving mine I'd never heard of the HBBevo. Now that I have one I don't think I'd want to be without it. The HBBevo is a re-configured Classic HBB (Healthy Back Bag) featuring a padded pocket for portable electronics, magnetic closures and a cushioned strap. These days pretty much everyone has a cell phone, and most have an e-reader or tablet too. With the HBBevo you can carry them all and more without breaking your back. I'm thinking this would make an excellent Mother's Day gift for those with tech savvy moms!

The part I like the most besides the cool look and style of the bag is that it has so many pockets. You have a zippered pocket on one side, two magnetic closure pockets on the other side, and a spine pocket. And that's just on the outside of the bag.

Inside the bag you'll find additional zippered and angled pockets as well as a key hook. The larger zippered pocket also features padding for added protection of your electronic devices. And the main double zipper is accessible only to you without taking the bag off.

I really could go on and on about all the great features of this bag, but instead I've included a photo of the card that was attached to my bag that tells some more about the great features it offers. Probably the most important feature however is that it's designed to contour to your spine and reduce stress on your back, neck and shoulders. I don't know about you, but I've had this problem pretty much since I started carrying a purse. Seems like it's a catchall for everything that everyone else doesn't want to carry. I can remember rubbing my neck saying how much it hurt after we spent an afternoon walking around a flea market looking for treasures. Of course all those smaller treasures ended up in my purse, slowly making it heavier as we went. I'm actually looking forward to going this spring again so I can test out my HBBevo to see how much of a difference it makes.

The HBBevo even comes in several sizes so there's one that will fit all your needs.  I'm planning to get a smaller bag in the same color as mine for my daughter so we can have a matching set.

Acase iPad Air Case

I recently received the Acase iPad Air Case for my reviewing purposes. As soon as I opened the envelope that contained the case I was already impressed. It arrived in it's own individually sealed bag. The reason this was so impressive to me was because I've had things arrive scratched and dinged that weren't properly protected inside the mailing envelope. After removing the case from the bag I inspected it from all aspects.

The cases exterior is made of leather and protects the iPad Air from accidental bumps and drops. The case is very slim and only adds around 1/4" of total thickness to your Apple iPad Air.

Upon opening the case you will find a foam insert that insures protection of the back of the case from being damaged during shipment. Also inserted is your typical silica packet to prevent moisture, which is a must with a leather case. The microfiber cover protects your iPad Air by helping prevent scratches when it's closed. The case has raised sides all around to ensure a tight fit of your iPad. It also has cut-outs in all the right places for accessibility to the plug ports, camera, and buttons. The case closes with a simple magnetic lid. The Smart Case enabled feature allows your iPad Air to be put to sleep or awakened when case is opened or closed.

Overall I was very pleased with everything about the case from unpacking it upon arrival to all of the features that it includes for full protection.

Motorola Xoom Tablet Review

I only have good or should I say great things to say about the Motorola Xoom. I am one of those people that doesn't like to read manuals of any sort, for anything.  Well, lucky for me the Motorola Xoom is so easy to use, I was able to turn it on and start playing without reading anything! It was that easy.  Heck after I got it set-up even my 5-year old daughter could do it all herself.  She picked it up, turned it on and found the game she wanted to play all without my help.  Just from watching me play around with it she had even figured out how to bring up youtube.com and start watching videos of kittens and other animals.  The Motorola Xoom comes with the Android Market pre-installed so all you need is a Google mail account to get started.  Browse, download and play games, read books, and navigate all sorts of other apps. I didn't really notice a big difference between using the 3G network vs. my home wireless internet, but it sure was great to have while in the car and out to dinner. Yes you heard me out to dinner.  While the kids were coloring their place-mats I took advantage of the quiet time to play around with the Xoom. It's really lightweight and easy to tote around.  I already had a smaller zipper pouch from our netbook so I just slipped it in there and off we went. As much as we played on this thing I was really impressed at how well the battery lasted between charging.  The Xoom also features a front and rear camera. I wasn't really sure the purpose of this, but we tested it out and played with the picture manipulation features.  Just something else fun to do, but not really a necessity if you ask me.  I couldn't envision myself ever carrying it around to take pictures. One of my favorite parts was the desktop as you would call it had a slide feature like a cell phone so you could have different pages for different applications or features.  It made it nice for me to have my email account on a separate page then the games for the kids.  I also liked how the internet was similar to a normal computer with the ability to have multiple sites open on different tabs. I don't know if it's available or not, but I'd definitely want a car charger for this for long trips.
