Give mom a basket of treats she'll love!
Sometimes as a mom all we really wish for in a day is a little break from all that's going on and a little snack to have with it. A little indulgence is always a nice thing be rewarded with for all of our hard work as a mom. For me sometimes it's just a few pieces of chocolate, or a few cookies sitting in my easy chair and listening to the sounds of nature. I like to enjoy things that are good for me even when snacking so I don't have to feel guilty though so have treats from the Newman's Own Organics line is one of my favorites. I know I can have that sweet indulgence, but not be on sugar overload. Right now I've gotten hooked on their Fig Newmans. I love the flavor and that they are low fat but don't taste any different.
Another nice treat is having a hot cup of tea in the evening for me. It helps relax me before bed and it warms me up when the evenings are still cool. Any way you look at it as a mom we just like to have something that says "hey mom, we love you" and special treats, or things for our kitchen are definitely (in my book) ways to say that for sure.

Reward yourself with a sweet treat!
We are big peanut butter fans in our house. My kids like to dip pretty much everything in it from pretzels, to celery, you name it. As a mom I love it because I know it's not a bad snack for them. And when they choose Justin's I know they are having an all natural treat too. I like Justin's because they have so many different flavors of peanut (and other) butters. It's like a sweet reward every time you dip some out to enjoy with your snack. I like to send the peanut butter cups with my husband as a surprise treat in his lunch box too.
Justin's comes in your standard sized peanut butter jar, individual single serve packets, paired with pretzels for on the go, and peanut butter cups. You can check out all the flavors here.
About:
Justin’s makes nut products that are organic and all natural. These delicious creations include nut butters, peanut butter cups, and squeeze packs for on the go snacking. Grab a squeeze pack to put in your child’s backpack for a quick and protein packed snack.
I have trouble eating regular ice cream due to the lactose in it so I have to find other treats to enjoy in place of it. Thankfully I've found that I can however enjoy gelato and sorbetto without any problems. Ciao Bella has actually become one of my sweet treat indulgences because I can get them in so many great flavors. The containers are small, but I only like a little at a time so I can enjoy them two (or sometimes three) different times. Of course that's if I can keep them hidden from my kids that long. Whenever they see a container of Ciao Bella in the freezer they immediately start begging to have some. They know just how good it is too. Sometimes I get them each their own container so they don't try to steal mine before I've had the chance to finish it.
About:
Ciao Bella is a premium sorbetto and gelato brand that creates unique flavors unlike any frozen treat you’ve tried before. Ciao Bella is perfect for a refreshing and indulgent after school snack. You can check out all the flavors here.
What do you think about enjoying Justin's and Ciao Bella for a sweet treat? What would you pair Justin's with for a sweet treat?

Make a healthy snacking change with Newman’s Own Organics
I'll be the first to admit that I don't always make the best decisions when it comes to snacking. I've always been one that tends to shy away from snack foods that say they are "organic" or other healthy related terms. In the past I'd had a few bad experiences with foods not tasting very good in their alternate form. So I just stopped trying new ones as they came along. I'm sure many people will admit the same thing when they hear the word "organic".
Fast forward years later (to now) from when I first tried and was less than thrilled with my first organic foods experience. I am actually looking at organic foods and snacking with a whole new outlook and attitude. Since having tried some different foods recently as well as snacks I am learning that organic isn't so bad after all. Yes some foods do taste different, but that's even true between different brands of the exact same product. But that's a whole different conversation in itself. Back to organics. Newman’s Own is a brand name I've known for a long time and enjoyed several of their products over the years. A division of theirs I hadn't ever tried is Newman’s Own Organics. It's a line they've actually had for quite a long time. I was actually fortunate enough to receive a very nice sized box of their products recently to check out for myself and am happy to report that I'm loving some of my new found snacks. Right now at the top I have to say is their Fig Newmans - they are better than the other brand of fig bars in my opinion. You can really taste the fruit bits in them and they are so soft and moist. Newman's Own Organics Snacks are actually very good and I'm a bit sad I hadn't tried them out before. Knowing they don't sacrifice flavor for goodness gives me a whole new opinion of the line.
Newman’s Own Organics actually has quite a good array of cookies in their line to choose from. There's something for everyone whether they like a good chocolate on chocolate cookie, or just a simple plain shortbread cookie. This is the part where I admit I ate half a bag of the chocolate chip cookies in one sitting - yes they are that addicting!
Newman's Own Organics even has a really nice line of chocolates, candy and mints. I've not had too many organic foods from this category so I didn't really have much to compare to. I wasn't really thrilled with the flavor of the Licorice Twists - but my husband and son both said they thought they were awesome and asked if I had anymore. So besides brands all tasting different we also have to remember we each have our own individual taste bud differences. That's one sometimes I forget to not allow to influence me. I always tell my kids they have to try one bite of everything, but don't always remember that advice for myself when it comes to trying something new.
Thankfully I was given the opportunity to try out some new snacks because it's left me with a whole new attitude about organic snacking. I know now that I can still enjoy a treat whether it be sweet or salty and not have to fill my body with all sorts of unnecessary additives. You can stick to a healthy diet and enjoy the luxuries of snacking too!

Slammers - The Superfood Snack
Slammers are a healthy alternative to sugar-laden snacks like cookies, cakes, chips, and candies. Each flavor introduces kids to fruits such as mangos, acai, yumberries, kiwis, and pomegranates, and serves as a great source of essential vitamins. And two of their new flavors introduced also come packed with seven grams of protein.
We do alot of running around during the holidays and breaks from school so I always try to keep some sort of snacks with me for the kids (and myself too of course). I don't like running through drive-thru restaurants spur of the moment when the kids get hungry on the go because I know it's not the best for them. That's why I keep things like Slammers in a bag in my car for those "I'm hungry" moments. It's something the kids and I can enjoy on the go and not have to worry about any preparation ahead of time. Just twist off the cap and enjoy their naturally sweet flavor. And they come in awesome flavor combinations so there's lots of fruity goodness to enjoy!
Flavor Combinations: Epic, Awesome, Chill'n, Pumped, Pomegranate Grape Crush, and Watermelon Kiwi Burst.

Justin’s: The all-natural way to snack after school
Before this opportunity we had never tried any of the Justin's products. And now that we have we are all wondering what took us so long to discover them. I actually have a jar of their almond butter sitting on my desk next to a container of pretzels. When I get snack hungry in the afternoons I just open the jar and dip a little out for my pretzels and it makes a great snack. I also picked up a few of the peanut butter cups and put one in my husband's lunchbox for a little afternoon pick me up and he was pretty excited when he found it.
My kids like to use the honey almond butter for the same thing when they get home from school and want a quick snack before dinner is ready. Justin's is something I can feel good about letting them snack on because it's all-natural. It's actually made from dry roasted almonds and that's the first ingredient on the jar label.
Justin's comes in your standard sized peanut butter jar, individual single serve packets, paired with pretzels for on the go, and peanut butter cups. You can check out all the flavors here.
