Top 9 Things You Have to Do and See on a New York Vacation

New York, New York; a city so good they named it twice. New York is a city that has somehow captured the imaginations of people all across the world. Whether you dream of shopping until you drop on Fifth Avenue, scaling the heights of its tallest skyscrapers, or seeing a show on Broadway, New York has to be on your list of ‘must-see’ destinations.

Holiday World & Splashin' Safari

When it comes to family fun there's no place like Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. We went this summer on part of our mini-vacation. Our last visit there was actually nine years ago. I honestly couldn't believe it had been that long since our last visit. I can tell you one thing though it won't be that long before we go back. This trip reminded me just how much I loved Holiday World. From the hospitality to the free sunscreen and drinks through out the park it honestly has a lot to offer.

Story Land - making children's stories come to life!

If you missed my previous post I had mentioned that after twelve years and another child later we were headed back to Story Land to make some new memories. So fast forward to 2017 and here we are again! I will be honest not alot changed over those twelve years. There is a neat new wooden roller coaster, but for the most part everything was just as I remembered it when we took our son. Of course the best part is that we have our daughter now to enjoy it all over again with.

Special Savings for your next trip to StoryLand! #StoryLandNH

I can still remember the first time we visited StoryLand on our trip to NH to visit my in-laws. My son was just a little guy at the wee age of five (he is now 17) and I can remember him just taking it all in. It was a pretty fantastic day for the three of us and we all had a great time.

Since we will be heading back to NH for a family vacation this summer I'm already planning a trip back to StoryLand so we can make some of the same (and new) memories with our daughter. Be sure to watch for my post coming up in August when we visit. In the meantime I've got a nice disocunt offer to share with you in case you've been thinking about making a trip to StoryLand yourself!

Awesome Creations are happening at LEGOLAND!

Can you imagine taking the time to build something out of 30 billion LEGO bricks? LEGOLAND California did just that when it built New York City in the park’s Miniland USA.

Or did you know that The Albert Einstein was one of the first and largest LEGO models built in LEGOLAND, Florida? How does one go about building these creations? What is the planning process? How long does it take? The wondrous art and science of building life size LEGO brick creations has captured the awe of many across the world. So much so that LEGOLAND has put together an infographic of statistics that LEGOLAND enthusiasts (and even those less familiar) are sure to enjoy.
