The Star movie hits theaters 11/17 #TheStarMovie #FlyBy

The all anticipated nationwide release of The Star from Sony Pictures Animation is on November 17th. From the producers of Heaven is for Real and Miracles from Heaven it's another chart topper you won't want to miss. I will be the first to admit I have watched every single trailer for this movie I'm so excited about seeing it in theaters! It's one of those serious topic shows that adds in a little comedy to make it a can't miss movie.

I have probably seen half a dozen different movie versions of the first Christmas, but honestly never one quite like this. It's a totally different story all together since it's told from the animals point of view. And a mighty funny one I might add. It's a great movie to start a new tradition with this holiday season!

About the movie:
In Sony Pictures Animation's The Star, a small but brave donkey named Bo yearns for a life beyond his daily grind at the village mill. One day he finds the courage to break free, and finally goes on the adventure of his dreams. On his journey, he teams up with Ruth, a lovable sheep who has lost her flock and Dave, a dove with lofty aspirations. Along with three wisecracking camels and some eccentric stable animals, Bo and his new friends follow the Star and become unlikely heroes in the greatest story ever told - the first Christmas.

Dolphin Tale 2 in theaters TODAY! #DolphinTale2 #WinterHasHope

Ever since I saw the first movie I had hoped they would come out with another one. And the time has finally arrived! I can't wait to take my kids to see this feel good family friendly movie. I love when I know it's okay to take them into a movie and there won't be anything inappropriate seen.

About the movie:

Inspired by true events, Dolphin Tale 2  continues the story of the brave dolphin Winter, whose miraculous rescue and recovery—thanks to a groundbreaking prosthetic tail—made her a symbol of hope and perseverance to people around the world and inspired the 2011 family hit movie “Dolphin Tale.” This film reunites the entire main cast, led by Harry Connick Jr., Oscar winner Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Kris Kristofferson, and of course, the remarkable dolphin Winter as herself. Champion surfer Bethany Hamilton, who has been an example of courage, also appears in the film.

It has been several years since young Sawyer Nelson and the dedicated team at the Clearwater Marine Hospital, headed by Dr. Clay Haskett, rescued Winter. With the help of Dr. Cameron McCarthy, who developed a unique prosthetic tail for the injured dolphin, they were able to save her life. Yet their fight is not over. Winter’s surrogate mother, the very elderly dolphin Panama, has passed away, leaving Winter without the only pool mate she has ever known. However, the loss of Panama may have greater repercussions for Winter, who, according to USDA regulations, cannot be housed alone, as dolphins’ social behavior requires them to be paired with other dolphins. Time is running out to find a companion for her before the team at Clearwater loses their beloved Winter to another aquarium.
