My daughter is big into doing her hair as a middle schooler this year so having a piece with a cat on it has made her top to wear list. It's actually really nice to hear her come home and talk about kids telling her how pretty her hair clip is. Now to me that says something about what she's wearing.

Every year I make up baskets for the Domestic Violence Shelter in hopes that they bring the ladies there a little bit of joy for the holidays. I always try to give them some basics that they may need and had to leave behind. I also always try to do it in a fun way like with a nice basket. It's something they can use to hold their beauty products or decorate with when they are able to move into their own place. Plus it makes the products inside look really nice and more like a gift. This year I tried to do a little bit of holiday colors in my basket with the red and greens to make it a bit more festive. Have beach ready hair and legs this summer!

When I head out to the beach (or anywhere really) I tend to take a quick look in the mirror first. Always making sure my hair looks good and presentable. The other thing I tend to do when heading to the beach, pool, or anywhere someone might happen to see my legs up close is check to make sure I have a nice clean shave. CHI Flat Irons: Helping mom get the style she deserves

I've been through the flat ironing stage a few times now, but this time around it's like a whole different world. Flat irons are now used for more than just...well...making your hair flat. You can use them to straighten, curl, and even crimp your hair if you know what you're doing.
