Essential Oil Roller Bottles - Tinted Glass vs. Painted

There are a ton of different essential oil roller bottles out on the market now days. I know I've personally reviewed quite a few from various sellers on Amazon. On the overall the are pretty much the same. Bottle, lid, roller ball, I think you get the gist of it. However when you actually get them and start to check them out up close you will see there really is a difference between them. For instance some have a plastic roller ball, some have metal. Some have glass you can see through, and some have a coating on the outside making it solid colored. There are definitely benefits, and drawbacks to the various differences between bottles. But what it really comes down to in my opinion is preference. It depends on what you're putting into the bottles as well as what you'll be using it for.

Some people say they prefer one kind of bottle over another, and some say they are all the same so it doesn't matter. I am actually one of those people that has a preference. I prefer the bottles that are either clear or tinted glass because I can see exactly how much is left in the bottle. I do like the painted bottles and think they are very pretty though.

Another thing to consider besides the coloring of the bottles is the size. There are also many different sizes of bottles out there too!

Essential Oil Roller Bottles for your Oil Blends #asteressentialrollonbottles

I use a lot of roller bottles when I am making oil blends to carry with me in my purse and to share with friends. I really like this set from Aster Essentials because they have a nice look to them with the frosted glass. I got the ones with the blue lids because I thought they were pretty and am glad I did because they are a very nice color.

I like that the roller part has a metal ball because the plastic ones sometimes get stuck and don't work right, and they can break down if used with oils that contain citrus. The balls roll smoothly when you use them to distribute your oils. The toppers were easy to put in the bottle and they are nice and tight so they don't leak when turned upside down.

The glass bottles are a nice frosted color so that helps protect the oils inside from the suns UV rays that can break them down. These would also be nice for dividing up perfume to have a smaller bottle for your purse, car, etc.

I recently started dabbling around with making different things using my essential oils and have been thinking about making some lip balms and scrubs as well as some hand creams/balms. These 5 and 10 gram clear plastic jars are perfect for those things because they are nice and small and portable.

I like that the jars are all clear so you can easily see not only what's inside, but also how much is left in the container. Unlike the ones that are solid white and you have to take the top off to see what's inside and how much. These jars are very nice quality and the lids are easy to twist off and then back on. They line up well so they don't leave any gaps when screwed on all the way so no worries of your contents leaking out if you store them in your purse.

If you've been following my blog long you probably already know I'm big into essential oils. I use them quite often in place of things like over the counter drugs, spices in my kitchen, and cleaning supplies. So with all that in mind yes I do have quite a few different oils in my stash. Being a user of essential oils for over a year now I've gotten to carrying them around with me pretty much everywhere I go. The case protects the bottles very well and keeps them separated in little mesh pouches so they don't bump against each other. With this case I can share my oils anywhere I go and take them traveling safely.

Get your Essential Oil Necessities from My Oil Gear

I'm sure by now you've at least heard about using essential oils even if you aren't actually using them yourself. I am one that's both heard of them and uses them personally. There are some that I actually carry with me everyday in my purse because I swear by them for certain ailments. I can attest that yes they do work since I've used them myself. Direct Sales Saturday: Essential Oils

I've been using Essential Oils for almost a year now thanks to my best friend Becky. She first started using them with her son and had wonderful results. After witnessing it first hand I decided I had to check them out for myself. Over the past several months I have personally used several different oils for various needs. I'm going to share a few of them with you now.

Lemon: I used this oil (as shown in the photo above) to remove the adhesive that was on my incisions from a surgery I had in February. Before getting the tip from Becky I had been scrubbing and scrubbing with soap and a wash cloth and getting no where. With just a little lemon oil on a cotton swab I was able to quickly and easily clean it all off.

Respiratory Blend: I have used a respiratory blend on several occasions when I've been having trouble with breathing. I just rub a few drops on my chest then inhale what's on my hands and in short time I'm able to breath easier.

Soothing Blend: This happens to be one of my favorites. Soothing blend is great for aches, and sore muscles.

Tension Blend: Another of my favorites is the Tension Blend. This blend is used help relieve tension and discomfort. 

I could truly go on and on about all of the different oils I've used and how they've worked for me and my family. But for now I will leave you with the information above. Holiday Gift Guide: Relax with the SpaGlow Diffuser

I've been using essential oils for awhile now on myself and my family with great results. Recently I also started using a diffuser to distribute some of the oils into the air of my home. There are some of the oils when diffused that offer a very relaxing aroma. And some of them just add a nice scent to the air. The diffuser I am using right now in my living room is the SpaGlow from Greenair. It's a globe-shaped, blown-glass oil diffuser that gives you a relaxing spa-like atmosphere. With a gentle push with the palm on your hand to the top of the globe it easily turns on. A second push lets lets you choose one of three subtle colors while diffusing. A third push turns the light off while still diffusing and a forth push turns the unit all the way off. It can be used with plain water, or you can add around five drops of essential oils (depending on how strong you like your scents) to the water for aromatherapy benefits. Once activated the oil is converted into micro-fine particles that are then diffused into the air. And the results I have to say are amazing. My daughter actually keeps asking me if she can have the diffuser in her bedroom to use as a night light when she goes to bed.
