Gift the great taste of Melitta Coffee

If someone were to ask me if I would be happy to find coffee in my stocking this year I would tell them sure. I mean who wouldn't? Well, as long as it's a good tasting coffee that is. If it was Melitta Coffee I would definitely be happy because I've tried several from their line and none have disappointed me. They have a nice robust taste with lots of flavor in every cup. Okay so I know now I sound like a commercial, but I really do enjoy the flavored coffees they offer. I use a mixture of bagged coffee as well as capsules at home. When I'm not drinking alone I will make a pot, but if it's just me I usually only drink a cup or two so I don't need a whole pot. I love that now days we have options when it comes to brewing coffee. Not just the choice between regular and decaf, but also the choice from lots of flavors. So why not gift the taste of flavor and give someone a gift bag filled with Melitta coffee blends for Christmas this year. I promise they won't be disappointed.

Café de Europa premium bagged coffee: Inspired by European café culture, Melitta sources the world’s best beans for this extra fine grind coffee – high-grown Arabica beans, which are the top two percent of the worldwide Arabica harvest. The result? The flavor of Europe in every cup. (MSRP: $6.99/bag)
• Classique Supreme (medium roast)

Designed to deliver a heightened sensory experience, coffee lovers can actually see and smell the coffee within the unique capsule. Made with a real filter, it allows water to fully saturate the grinds for a bolder, richer cup of coffee. Who knew you could have coffee shop quality from the comfort of your own home? I sure didn't until I was introduced to the Ninja Coffee Bar™. I am actually still in awe at all the things this coffee bar can do. You can choose from classic brew, rich brew, over ice brew, or specialty brew for the strength of your coffee. You can choose from four different sizes of cups/pots depending on how much you want to make at one time too. That alone stomps all over any other coffee system I've ever had in my kitchen. Add in all of the other great features and you have yourself one heck of a machine!

Start your day off right with a hot cup of joy (coffee)

I like to start my day off with a hot cup of joy... I mean coffee. To me it's joy though because of how it makes me feel in the mornings. It's part of my morning wake-up process and if I don't have it my day is really thrown off. I like the warmth and the flavor of a good cup of coffee and how it makes me feel as I sip it down. I'm actually a bit on the particular side too when it comes to the brand and roast of my coffee. I don't like anything real dark or strong. And I've found there are many of the flavored coffee that I'm not fond of either. It's really just a trial and error thing on my part, and luckily my husband is one of those that will drink pretty much any flavor and brew of coffee.

Thankfully there are brands like Dunkin' Donuts and Folgers that offer such a wide selection of flavor choices to choose from. I love being able to pick up a package of K-Cups and try out something new knowing that I'm not stuck with a full sized can of coffee if it's not my style. Above is just a small sampling of some of the Folgers flavors available at my local Meijer store I saw last time I went to get groceries. I love that they change flavors by season too so I'll never get board of trying something new!

You can find Folgers K-Cups and Dunkin Donuts K-Cups in the grocery isle with the regular coffee.

At Dancing Moon Coffee Company Love is in the Air - and the Cup!

I know I personally start my day out with a cup of coffee in hand. There's just something about the aroma and taste that wakes me up and gets me going. And if there's a morning I don't get that first cup as soon as I'm up and moving you should probably just turn around when you see me coming down the hallway. I'm a mommy that needs that little bit of wake-up time to myself and my cup of coffee is that time. Thankfully we have a single cup brewer that I can always count on to provide me with that quick cup, especially on those mornings no one remembered to set the timer for the pot. Over the last few days I've actually been enjoying a special cup from Dancing Moon Coffee Company. They recently launched into the K-Cup market with their Jamaica Blue Mountain® single serve cups. It's a unique coffee because it's not a blend like many are. I actually really like it because it has a nice smooth taste to it, and it's not too strong. I'm more of a medium to mild coffee type of gal myself. After adding in my usual french vanilla creamer this is one cup I have to say I really enjoy waking up with.

About:
Gourmet coffee brand Dancing Moon Coffee Company introduces its newest varietal, Jamaica Blue Mountain®, available exclusively online. The product is 100% board-certified Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee – not a blend. Like all Dancing Moon brand coffees, its Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee is single estate origin.

Compatible with most single-server brewers, each Dancing Moon Jamaica Blue Mountain K Cup offers a single cup of coffee with exquisite aroma and smooth, rich taste.

What’s more, a portion of all proceeds are donated to The Semper Fi Fund to benefit wounded U.S. servicemen and their families.

Single Cup Club: Discover. Experience. Enjoy

Have you ever wanted to experience different blends of coffee but didn't want to invest in full sized cans or bags? I know that thought scares me, what if I spend the money and then I don't like it at all? The Single Cup Club is a great solution to this dilemma. You get three different blends of coffee each month to try and enjoy. No risk, no obligation. I love this because I can try different blends and if I don't like them just pass the extras on to a family member to try. Plus I just love getting fun things in the mail so it's a win-win for me!

Wake up your sweetie with the aroma of coffee on Valentine's Day morning

I'm one of those that looks forward to the scent of that first cup of coffee in the mornings when I wake up. I don't know what it is about the aroma of a good cup of coffee that just gets my morning started off right. Recently I was introduced to a new way to brew my morning beverage and have to say I'm pretty much in love. The Touch® T526S brewer allows you to make coffee in your choice of eight different cup sizes as well as in a carafe. When I saw this I was in total awe. I had a Keurig machine that I actually got rid of because I hated the fact I couldn't brew what I called "a real cup of coffee". I didn't want to be confined to either a small cup or a carafe. With my new Touch brewer I can make up to an 18 ounce cup if I so choose. The T526S brewer allows you to choose from eight cup sizes (6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, or 18 ounces and carafe). Another feature I really liked was that it has such a large water tank. At a 90-ounce capacity I don't have to refill it nearly as often, and if you've ever filled a water tank you know how enjoyable that can be. It's not tall and slender either so it's even less awkward to fill when I need to. As for the cup of coffee I can brew a cup in about one minute or a whole carafe in around three minutes. That to me is just awesome. I love being able to have a cup anytime of the day at really a moments notice. I also noticed that the flavor of my coffee from this brewer is different, it actually reminds me of the flavor I get at a coffee shop.

The Touch® T526S brewer:
While single-serve coffee systems continue to gain popularity, there have always been drawbacks: weak coffee, the ability to brew only a small cup at a time, and most notably, flawed coffee capsule designs and water heating systems. Touch Coffee & Beverages is re-inventing the single-serve coffee platform with the release of its ground-breaking Touch® T526S brewer and re-engineered capsules. Not only do Touch's easy-to-use systems brew superior-tasting, coffee shop-quality coffee in significantly less time than current machines, but they are also open platform. This means that the brewers are fully compatible with any cup at all—from existing Keurig K-Cups® to generic cups, in addition to Touch's ground-breaking  XBold Cups™, XLarge Cups™ and reusable Refill Jumbo Cup™.

Touch even came out with L.A. Coffee, its own brand of coffee inspired by iconic landmarks in the City of Angels. Made with 100% Arabica beans and offered in three roasts, L.A. Coffee is available in Touch's re-engineered XBold Cup™ capsules. L.A. Coffee XBold Cups are available in Pacific Sunrise, Beverly Hills, and Sunset Strip roasts. Pacific Sunrise is a light roast with a sweet and soothing flavor; Beverly Hills is a rich and decadent medium roast; and Sunset Strip is packed with a generous portion of French Roast Arabica beans for an intense and extra-bold brew. The XBold Cups have a larger capacity than most Kcups, allowing up to 30% more coffee per capsule.

The Touch® T526S brewer, which comes with a reusable Refill Jumbo Cup™ and 26-ounce carafe, is currently available online and has an MSRP of $249.99. For additional information about Touch's brewers, accessories and coffee, please visit www.TouchBeverages.com.

Capresso On-the-Go Personal Coffee Maker

Ever have one of those mornings where you just really want a cup of coffee NOW? I know I've had that a time or two, heck I've even had it in the middle of the day. And waiting for an entire pot to brew just isn't going to happen when the mood strikes. That's what makes the Capresso On-the-Go Personal Coffee Maker so awesome. You can brew a single serving of coffee anytime you like day or night in a matter of minutes. I've tried using the K-cup style coffee machines and I just never really found one that I really fell in love with. It seemed like after some time it stopped working right and I would end up with grounds in my cup. When I heard about this personal coffee maker I was pretty excited to try it out. I like that it comes with the perfect sized travel mug so I knew right off just how much coffee was going to come out. And it also gives me the option to use ground or soft pods for my coffee choices. Another nice benefit. I love that the filter that came with the coffee maker can be removed to be cleaned and reused over and over leaving no waste behind like the K-cups. The coffee brews pretty quickly in just a few minutes which is great if you are in a hurry. I really like the way the coffee tastes brewed from the coffee maker too. It's not watered down, and it's not too strong. I've had both extremes with others I've tried so I really like that this one makes it just right for me.

I start my mornings with Community Coffee. How about you?

Do you have to have your coffee in the mornings before you can start your day? I know I sure do, I look forward to the smell and the taste of that first cup in the mornings. And when the weather starts to get warm (as it is right now) I like to change it up a little and brew a little stronger pot of coffee and have myself a glass of iced coffee. I have to say the "Limited Time Only" Creme Brulee from Community Coffee makes excellent iced coffee. I've been making it for my husband pretty much every day for the past week. I make my morning pot, drink a cup or two for myself then save what's left for his iced coffee. He said it doesn't even need creamer it has such a good taste on it's own. He likes it with just a little milk and lots of ice cubes. I normally like my coffee in a mild flavor but I really like their Breakfast Blend that's a medium roast. It has a nice smooth flavor and doesn't give you a bite like some heavier roasts.

Brooklyn Bean Variety Pack #BBRReview

The 40-count Brooklyn Bean sampler pack includes four samples of light, medium, and dark-roast blends: Breakfast Blend, Boardwalk Blend, Brooklyn Bridge, Colombian, Cyclone, Donut Shop, Fugheddaboutit and French Roast. This is exciting to me because I like to try different flavors of coffees, but don't like buying it in bulk in fear I may not like it. This way I am able to try it and see what I think before I buy it in a larger quantity. I've actually been quite enjoying the Brooklyn Bean varieties and love the box that they came in because I was able to open the front bottom and use the cups right from the box. It's so much easier to use the box to store them in then try to stack them beside my coffee machine.

Holiday Gift Guide: Crazy Cups Coffee for Christmas

Over the last few years I've gotten into drinking more coffee than I ever did before that. However, I don't drink just plain black coffee and I don't think I ever will. I've always enjoyed flavored drinks and feel the same about my coffee. I just like having some sort of little extra flavor when I enjoy my cup of coffee in the morning. So when I got to try out an awesome sampler from Crazy Cups I was super excited. It contained all sorts of different flavored coffees and even a few flavored cocoas (which made my kids happy). So far from all of the ones I've tried I have to say I like the Caramel Truffle Sundae best. It's a combination of sweet caramel, chocolate and nut ice cream. It's a great way to enjoy a sundae even in the winter when it's cold. Crazy Cups are compatible with K-cup brewers (except the new Keurig 2.0) and the cups can even be recycled after use.

About:
Each cup has 13g of coffee. That's 30% more coffee grounds than any major single cup manufacturer. More coffee means a more flavorful, bold, and delicious cup. Crazy Cups are recyclable. Our cups are made with cool, peel, recycle. So they are not only good for you, but good for the planet.

Buy it: You can purchase Crazy Cups online in individual flavors as well sampler packs.

Thanks to Rogers Family Company I was provided with the below mentioned product for the purpose of my personal review. This blog post is not a paid post and the honest opinions stated are my own.

Do you try to live a lifestyle that supports being natural as much as possible when it comes to your food and beverage intake? But maybe you've been afraid to try it because you're not sure it will have the same great flavor as your current coffee brand. Well, if that's the case let me put your mind at ease. I tried 100% Organic French Vanilla Coffee from Rogers Coffee Company and was very surprised at the flavor. If it didn't' say organic right on the package I never would have known the difference. It had the same great taste and freshness of all their other coffees I've had before.

San Francisco Bay OneCup Single Serve Coffee #Giveaway - Ends 5-22

A few weeks ago I introduced you to the Rogers Family Coffee Company and their San Francisco Bay Hawaiian Blend Coffee. Now I'm back with another great line they carry called OneCup. The San Francisco Bay OneCup coffee pods come in a wide variety of flavors and are even bio-degradable. They will work in pretty much any Keurig-style brewer so chances are if you're already using a single cup machine these will work for you too!

Truly there is not very much to these pods, and they actually remind me of coffee ran through a filter that we enjoy in our regular sized pot. No more worrying about coffee tasting like plastic after having the hot water go through the traditional pods to brew the coffee. Now it can just go straight through like a regular coffee pot. And when you're all done you have half as much to throw away!

Win it:  One lucky reader will win one 12-count box of San Francisco Bay Breakfast Blend and one 12-count box of Pumpkin Spice OneCup single serve coffees. This giveaway will end May 23rd at 12:00 AM EST. The winner will have 48 hours to respond to my email. If no response, a new winner will be chosen. Open to residents of the US.

Entry Method:  Please use Rafflecopter form to enter.
a Rafflecopter giveaway Disclosure:  Thanks to PR Firm/sponsor I was provided with this product(s) for the purpose of my personal review. San Francisco Bay Hawaiian Blend Coffee

Are you a casual coffee drinker? Or maybe you consider yourself to be an expert of all things coffee. If you'd asked me this question a year ago I would have said sure, I drink coffee on occasion. Of course that meant it had to be sweetened and flavored up with either sugar and milk, or a flavored creamer. Fast forward a year and my answer is completely different. I would now consider myself to be an avid coffee drinker. Not quite an expert, but I'm well on my way! Before I started drinking coffee on a daily basis this past winter I would have told you all coffee is the same regardless of brand or supposed flavoring of the coffee beans. That was because I hadn't been exposed to very many different kinds of coffee beans to even know there could be a difference. When I made the first pot of the San Francisco Bay Hawaiian Blend Coffee I figured it would taste like pretty much every other pot I'd made of our usual brand of coffee. Boy was I in for a surprise. I could actually tell the difference in the taste of the coffee. Heck I could even tell the difference when I first opened the bag, just the scent of the ground coffee itself was different. I couldn't believe it, there really is a difference! And to prove my curiosity I did a blind switch on my husband when making his thermos for work one morning. And guess what? He DID notice the difference and even asked me about it when he got home. He said it was really good and asked if I had done something different or switched to a different can of coffee. To me this proves that when people say there is a difference there really is. There is not only a difference in the flavor of the coffee after it's brewed, but also in the aroma of the coffee itself before and after. I think there is also something to be said about coffee beans that are ground and sent directly to the consumer. Besides the freshness, another great thing about ordering from Rogers Family is you can choose which roast you'd like for your coffee. They have regular, espresso, french, and extra dark roast options. I opted for the regular roast this time since I wasn't sure about branching out too much to start with. But now I'm thinking it may be time to be bold and maybe kick it up a notch and try a darker roast.

Moustache Coffee Club Review - Try it Risk FREE today!

A few weeks ago I received a package from the Moustache Coffee Club. They sent me their Columbian Samaniengo. It is roasted by a local favorite in West Los Angeles. They roast their beans and ship them on the same day. This means that they get to you at the optimal time for drinking, 3-4 days after roasting. The beans come to you whole so they haven't even been ground yet and that means you get to use them at full flavor! I just recently became a heavy coffee drinker myself so I was pretty excited to give this club a try.  I was very pleased with how quickly the beans came, and the aroma when I opened the bag was wonderful. For this review I ended up doing a something a little different however as when I went to grind my beans I found out my coffee grinder had bit the dust.  So not wanting to waste the fresh beans I opted to turn them into a treat of chocolate covered coffee beans. I took the whole beans and dipped them in some melted chocolate with a little bit of shortening so it stayed nice and smooth. Then I laid them on some wax paper to dry and wallah, chocolate covered coffee beans. I have to say they are wonderful! And it's just another way you can put your coffee club subscription to use.

Are you a coffee lover too? If so I suggest you give them a try risk free!  When you sign up for a Moustache Coffee Club and get a 6 oz bag free! You need to use your credit card but this is an excellent way to try out this awesome coffee service. And of course you cancel anytime if you aren't completely satisfied. But trust me if you give them a try you won't be disappointed, even in whole bean form I was very satisfied with the flavor and freshness of the beans I received.
