AdaptiFIT™ Swaddle Blanket
When you have your first child you will probably go out of your way like we did to do everything you can to take the best care of them. And that care includes making sure they are safe at all times. Although some everyday products on the market may seem safe there can still be potential risks. For instance your average swaddling blanket may seem pretty darn safe. When in fact it's possible for them to come "untucked" so to speak as babies move in their sleep and possibly cover their faces. And as I'm sure you know this can be a safety issue if they aren't able to breath properly. That's one of the reasons I was so excited when I heard about the AdaptiFIT™ swaddle blanket. The other reason is that it's genius design finally makes swaddling a no-brainier! The AdaptiFIT™ by SnuggleBumpkinz is a self-stick baby swaddle blanket that takes the guesswork out of traditional swaddling. It features a unique “press & stay” design – strong hold so baby doesn’t break out of the swaddle and possibly cause the blanket to cover their face. The inner cotton layer helps to keep baby cool and helps prevent overheating. It even adapts to your growing baby with arms out and legs out options. As well as the option to use it as a standard blanket when they are older. Definitely a blanket with lots of possibilities!
About:
The AdaptiFIT easy swaddle is not just a swaddle device. It has dozens of uses from helping baby sleep, to helping to keep them clean during feeding, it is even a convenient nursing cover. Unlike nearly all other easy swaddles available, it is NOT a sleep sack, instead it is a unique self adhesive blanket, easier to wrap than a traditional swaddle blanket, but more adjustable than any other easy swaddle on the market today.

Swimming Lessons for Babies – Why They Are Important
Believe it or not, it is never too early to learn to swim. While we don’t recommend letting a newborn into the water just yet, a baby of six months or more is quite ready for the challenge.
There are a number of reasons why you should let your baby get the best swimming lessons in Toronto. In this article, we’ll look at four of them in detail. By the time you’ve finished reading this, perhaps you too will sign your baby up for swimming lessons.
Before we continue, take note that letting a baby have swimming lessons doesn’t mean leaving your baby with a stranger. You, the parents, will be the ones holding the baby while the instructor teaches you what to do.
If you’re interested in learning why you should sign your baby up for swimming lessons, read on!
Boosts the Baby’s Natural Ability in the Water
The longer you wait to expose your child to water, the more difficulty they’ll have adapting to it. Younger toddlers and babies who spend enough time in the water learn how to survive in it.Of course, your baby will not learn how to swim on their own. However, it will improve their ability to adapt to swimming as they get older. If your baby is exposed to water at six months of age, they will likely be swimming like a pro at 5 or 6 years old. (If not younger in some circumstances)
Enhances the Baby’s Connection with the Parent(s)
While in the water, your baby is completely dependent on you for survival. At first, they will likely scream and shout for fear of falling in. However, as you spend more time in the water, your baby will begin to trust you and enjoy splashing around much more.Doing so will improve your baby’s trust in other aspects of life as well. They will start to feel safe even when you leave them alone in your home. (You should never leave your baby alone when outside your home)
Trust is the most important bond you can build as parents. Swimming lessons at a young age are a means to reach this point as well.
Swimming Develops the Baby’s Lungs
Swimming and spending time underwater help to improve our control of the lungs. When a baby is still young, the lungs are still developing. If you expose them to water, it will help their lungs grow even stronger than it would have without it.Families that have a high chance of asthma should pay close attention to this. Allowing your baby to have swimming lessons can strengthen the lungs enough to avoid asthma. (Or at least reduce the severity of it)
Prepares the Baby for Future Lessons
As we said, your baby won’t learn to swim on their own until they are much older. However, being in the water will help your baby get used to the movement of the water and the way in which they can swim in it.After a time, when they get older, your child will find it much easier to learn how to swim well. They will swim far better than anyone their age who wasn’t exposed to water as a baby.
Everyone learns best at a young age. Most of the habits we form are between the ages of 1-5 years. So long as you expose your baby to water and let them have basic swimming lessons with you involved, you’ll find that they take to water like a dolphin.
Swimming is a vital skill that we should all learn. Learning as much as a baby goes a long way to making the task easier. Too many people drown from lake of experience in the water. It is in the best interests of us all that everyone learns how to swim.
If you have a young baby or toddler who hasn’t been in the water yet, give them a chance soon. You won’t regret it!

Suzy Snooze: The Smart Nightlight & Monitor
My daughter is going on 13 (this weekend to be exact) but she still likes to sleep with a nightlight on in her bedroom. There's just something about the warm glow of a light that provides her comfort as she falls asleep. She also likes to have background noise playing as she falls asleep too. I can understand the need for "white noise" because I sleep with a fan on year round. It just helps drown out any random noises the cats might be making through the night or the wind outside blowing things around. That's what got me interested in the Suzy Snooze as it has both of those features. I don't really need the ability to listen in on her room, but if I ever needed to check in on her I could use the app for this feature. This would be a great feature for those with younger kids though for sure allowing you to listen in to see if they are sleeping instead of chancing making noise outside of their bedroom door. The app was easy to set up and so was the Suzy Snooze unit. It's very cute siting on my daughter dresser and she likes the warm orange glow at night.

Disney Baby Collection by LÍLLÉbaby
Long gone are my days of having to tote a little one around on my hip, front, back, etc. everyday. However as a mom that means being a grandma is somewhere in my future (or at least it better be). So that leaves me still keeping an eye out for good quality baby products. I mean it's every future grandmas obligation isn't it? Either way when I saw information on the launch of the Disney Baby Collection by LÍLLÉbaby I knew that my future grand baby was going to be toted around in one. As a big Mickey Mouse fan I was really excited to see the patterns in the line. My favorite is their Embossed All Seasons Mickey pattern because it's subtle, yet still shows off Mickey all over. Plus being in the famous Mickey red it's perfect for boys or girls. I tried it on and used one of my daughters "lifelike" baby dolls to see how it worked and I have to say I was really impressed. It was quite comfortable, and really easy to put the "baby" in and out of.
The carrier offers six different carrying positions to transition from newborn (7lbs) up to toddler (45lbs). Positions include: Front-fetal, Front-infant, Front-outward, Front- toddler, Hip and Back carry. With lumbar support, two-way straps, a sleeping hood and even more features to make the carrier comfortable for both mom and baby you're gonna love it!
About:
The Disney Baby Collection by LÍLLÉbaby is available in the COMPLETE Airflow - a lightweight, breathable 3D mesh carrier, COMPLETE All Seasons - a sturdy canvas cotton, and COMPLETE All Seasons Embossed - a brand new carrier option featuring ultra-soft micro cloth with embossed designer detailing. Matching doll carrier accessories are also available. The collection will include prints featuring popular characters, with the first two prints showcasing the beloved Mickey Mouse. Prints include Mickey Traditional, a gray pattern with black and gray mesh, and Mickey Embossed, a luxe red pattern with black and gold accents. Additional prints will be released this spring and summer with characters from other Disney franchises.
