We live out in the country so there are alot of birds around and I love watching them out my big picture window. It's really relaxing just sitting and watching them fly all around and then settling down when they find the perfect spot. Now that I have my new bird feeding station I can attract all sorts of different birds. It's really quite awesome because it holds water, food, and has hooks for planters or other bird feeders. So much better than having separate handing/standing things in the yard for each individual item.
It was super easy to put together and I had it done in less than 10 minutes by myself including the time it took to put it in the ground. It doesn't require any tools, just your hands which to me is great. You get to decide how high or low the water dish, mesh feeder tray, and third hook are on the pole which I really like. I put the third hook at the top for now until I decide what I'm going to hang from it knowing that I can easily move it later.
The poles are heavy duty steel so they won't bend with weight on them if you use the hooks for planters. I'm going to get some pretty flowers for mine to attract hummingbirds. At the bottom of the mail pole there is a spike so it will easily go into the ground. I had no trouble using my foot to press the bottom into my yard to secure it upright. Now I just have to wait for the birds to learn where it is and enjoy them!
