Pilot Pen Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Used to be when I saw something with a pink ribbon on it I didn't even give it a second thought beyond "oh that's pretty". But having experienced the effects of breast cancer in my family I look at it in a whole new way now. I don't just see it as a "pretty pink ribbon" adorned on clothing and other merchandise. I see it as both awareness for an important cause and as remembrance of the battle a loved one fought - and won I might add. Thankfully many organizations like Pilot Pen agree that it's a cause that worthy of that awareness and that further education is very much needed. And they are taking a stand and doing something about it too!
How you might ask? Well let me tell you!
Pilot G2 is America's #1 selling, go-2 gel ink pen (NPD,2017). G2 writes smoothly, has a comfortable rubber grip, and is partnering with the National Breast Cancer Foundation* with a pink ribbon pen benefiting Breast Cancer Awareness and Research.
Pilot will donate 10% of gross proceeds from each pink ribbon product sold through 12/31/19 up to $130,000 to the National Breast Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer education, support and early detection.
If you think about it you use pens in your everyday life already right? So why not pair up those pen buying habits to help make a difference in the fight against Breast Cancer, and the support to those that have experienced it themselves or had a love one that has.
You can do this in stores that carry Pilot pens that sport the Breast Cancer Ribbon or from the convenience of your own home via online shopping!
