Essentials from STANLEY

The name STANLEY® is one of those that to me is a common household name. I can remember my dad and granddad using their yellow and black handled tools back when I was a young child. It's something that really stuck with me as I got older and needed to start picking up tools for myself to work on things in my own home. STANLEY® has always been a trusted brand for my family and it's a brand I've started buying for my teenage son for when he moves out and has a place of his own. I want to make sure I send him out into the world with the right tools to get the job done the right way.

That's where this handy new STANLEY® Essential Rolling Workshop will end up going in the next year or two. In the meantime my husband and I are working on filling it up with everything our son needs. It has three separate compartments that all snap together to make it into a handy rolling workshop. Perfect for anyone that needs to save space and wants their tools to be easily portable. The bottom compartment is great for smaller power tools, the middle is nice for project tools (like woodworking tools), and the top is great for your everyday tools like your hammer and screwdrivers. I love this toolbox because you can store alot and keep it organized at the same time.

STANLEY® Essential Rolling Workshop:
It's three storage solutions in one product. Comprised of a bottom bin, middle tote tray, and a top tool box and organizer, the Essential Rolling Workshop keeps small parts organized while transporting larger items with ease. Seven inch coated wheels make maneuvering convenient, easy, and ideal for a wide range of applications. MSRP $34.99.

One handy tool he will be getting in his toolbox is this STANLEY® TLM30 Laser Distance Measurer. For someone that's just starting out it will definitely be a handy way for him to measure things in his first place. I know as men get older and have more experience they thing they can "eyeball it" so to speak, but I want my son to start off right - and do it the accurate, and easy way. Plus he pretty much laid claim on it when he saw it arrive. In a matter of minutes he had it out of the box measuring different things around the room, and then comparing it with a tape measure.

STANLEY® TLM30 Laser Distance Measurer:
The STANLEY® TLM30 features a 2.5” L x 1.25” W x 0.75” H LCD screen that displays linear measurements and a single button that toggles between three settings: feet, inches and meters. The unit is accurate within ¼” and has a maximum distance of 30’. An internal lithium ion battery is charged via USB charging cable (provided) and an over-molded case housing for a secure grip and drop protection as well as a wrist strap connection for carrying convenience. The MSRP is $19.99.
