Sleek & Compact - and it sucks!

So I hope my title got your attention because this handy Cordless 4-in-1 Stick Vacuum from BLACK+DECKER actually does suck. But in a good way that is! When I opened up the package I honestly didn't have very high expectations for this stick vac. It was so lightweight I though no way is this thing going to actually pick anything up off the floor. But I am happy to admit this time I was wrong. It actually does quite well at cleaning up debris off the floor. Would I use it as my deep cleaning But would I use it for everyday clean-ups and spills...yes. I love it because I don't have to unwind and plug in a power cord to just do a quick clean-up. The cordless feature makes it a breeze to grab and go...clean up that is. Plus you can use it as a stick vac or a hand vac depending on where the mess is. This is great for me because in our tri-level house we have two sets of stairs that are a pain to sweep with the regular vacuum. We do not have any hi-pile carpet in our house so I don't know how it works on that, but it does just fine on hardwood flooring and low-pile carpet.

This would make a great vacuum for a college student to use in their dorm room, or someone moving into their first apartment. I'm actually thinking about getting one for my niece because she's getting her first place this fall. And as I'm sure we all know apartments are pretty limited on space so this would be perfect for her.

BLACK+DECKER™ announces its new Cordless 4-in-1 Stick Vacuum, which has a sleek & compact design for easy storage. This versatile vacuum can be used as a stick vacuum for floors, a hand vacuum for quick cleanups, and features a high-reach pole handle for drapes and other hard-to-reach areas.
