Never again wonder "Did I shut the garage door?"

Have you ever left your house, gotten down then road, and then thought to your self "did I shut the garage door"? I know I've done that more times than I can even start to count. Thankfully we live in the country so it's not quite as big a deal if I forgot, but for those that live in town and especially on a busy street it's something very important. Thankfully technology has come such a long way we now have ways to double check to make sure we did a little task like shutting the garage door.
Chamberlain, the leading maker of garage door openers, has the solution – MyQ Garage. This device and app can be installed by anyone with a screwdriver and ladder. Once operating, MyQ Garage let’s you check if the garage door is indeed closed from any smartphone. You can even open and close it remotely to let a friend in or have a package stowed away. And the app will alert you if the door opens.

Features:
• Installs in minutes and works with your home’s Wi-Fi
•Free app with no monthly or ongoing service fees
•Included: Wi-Fi Hub, door sensor, mounting bracket, power cord and instructions for free app download.
•Designed to work with garage door openers that use safety reversing sensors located at the bottom of the garage door track.

If you're like us you probably already have Wi-Fi set up in your home so adding the MyQ Garage to your home isn't really a big deal. I actually was surprised when reading over the instructions just how easy it is to install, something so simple even I could do it on my own. And once installed you can set it up to send alerts right to you. Imagine how nice this would this be when you need to let someone drop something off at your house and don't want it left outside?

Buy it: You can purchase the MyQ Garage and other garage door accessories on the Chamberlain website.
