Ozeri Ultra 42' Wind Fan - Quite as a whisper!

One of my biggest pet peeves in the summer is when my husband turns on the fan when we are watching TV, and then proceeds to turn the TV up super loud so he can hear it over the fan he just turned on. Then it's just a whole lot of loud noise in my book and I really just can't concentrate on anything the actors on the show are saying. It doesn't seem to bother him, he says he can tune out the fan. I sure wish I had that ability with the fan, and with other noises for that matter.

When I read the product description for the Ozeri Ultra Wind Fan I figured it would be another loud, drown out all other sounds fan just like the one I already had. But to my surprise it wasn't even close to that. It was actually a lot quieter and i think it even put out more air than my old fan. The Ozeri Ultra Wind Fan features noise reduction technology and generates more air velocity. Basically what that means it is produces more air for you to feel, but not more noise to go along with it. It also has three programmed airflow patterns designed to foster sleep, relaxation and comfort, as well as three whisper-quiet speed settings with 90 degree oscillation for optimal air circulation. The easy to use 12-hour timer can be programmed in 1 hour increments right from the top of the fan, or the wireless remote. This is actually one of my favorite parts of the fan - the remote. It's super easy to use and it stores right on the top of the fan so you're not searching around for it in between uses. It gives you the ability to use all of the same functions that are on top of the fan from anywhere in the room. So much better than the fan I had where I had to get up and pull up or push down a button on the back if I wanted the fan to oscillate.

In the above video I tried to show you just how quiet this fan is by comparing it to my current floor fan. If you listen you can tell the difference in sound between the fans. You'll want to ignore the sound of the air that's passing by my phone speaker because that's just from how close I was sitting to the fans so I could get an accurate sound level. You may have also noticed in the video a temperature display on the front of the Ozeri fan. This actually tells you what you're room temperature is so you can see the fan doing its job as you're room cools off. Another great bonus! This fan may cost a little more than you're standard floor fan at your local stores, but to me it's well worth it for the benefits and the quality of the fan. To me it's worth paying a little extra to get exactly what I want. And with the Ozeri name on it I know it's a quality fan that's going to last me for years to come.
