My Take:
I love this thing! If only I could teach it how to open the refrigerator and get my drink for me I'd be all set. But I guess for now I am on my own, which is probably a good thing or I might not ever get up and take a break from working. Really though, this little Rover is just so much fun. You can program it to go on pretty much any path as long as you correctly enter the command that tells the Rover how far to go and when to turn. The first time we used it we set it to take a snack to my husband. He recently had knee surgery and wasn't able to get up much to start off so we used it like a little "maid" to deliver his goodies while we were in the kitchen making supper. He thought it was pretty cool too. We tried having it deliver a treat to the cats but they kept running away, I guess we'll have to work on that one. The other thing I thought was cool was that my son didn't even realize he was using his little noggin when he was measuring and programming the Rover. Yep he was practicing and learning without even knowing it! Yippee for mom! Wanna see for yourself just how cool the Rover is? Then make sure you check out the video below.

ReplyDeleteI don't mind most chores all too much, as I'm a bit of a neat freak, BUT i really hate moping the floors. We have hardwoods throughout our entire house (aside from marmoleum in the kitchen & tile in the bathroom) so there is LOTS of moping to do. ROBOT... get to work! ;0
