When this fan arrived my husband was super excited. He does a lot of work both inside and outside of the house but is not a fan of doing so when it's hot. One of his big complaints has always been how much space fans take up and get in his way when he's trying to work. And that he loses an outlet by having it plugged in. The Pro-Performance Pivoting Blower Utility Fan from Lasko is the perfect choice for eliminating both of those issues for him. It's compact at only 14.5" and instead of taking away one of his precious outlets it gives him a bonus outlet! The cord on the fan is nice and long so he can place it anywhere he wants keeping it out of his way up high or down low. And it kind of acts like an extension cord because it has two 120-volt outlets on the side that are then accessible anywhere you place the fan. And at only 13.5 lbs it's pretty light weight for such a compact unit making it easy to grab by the handle and move it around. I for one was very impressed at the amount of air that came out of the opening of the fan. And that it pivoted so you can direct the air just where you want it. It's great not just for cooling purposes, but also for ventilation and even drying. It features three fan speeds and let me tell you the highest speed is amazing. It really moves some air. I'm not sure who was more excited about the fan my husband or me. I'm already thinking how nice it would be to use in the gazebo outside when we have backyard BBQ's. Of course he's thinking how nice it will be to use in the carport when he's working on his motorcycle. Either way it's definitely a hit in our house!
