Fruit Vines® Bites - Great for on the snacking!

Summer vacations may now only be a distant memory, but that doesn't mean we aren't still traveling and on-the-go just as much. Now that the kids are back to school it's time for sports, after school activities, and all of the other places our kids want us to run them. I couldn't even begin to count how many times I've picked my kids up and the first words out of their mouths was "I'm hungry, do you have anything I can snack on?". Sound familiar? I bet you've heard that a time or two yourself. I like to pride myself in being that mom that always has something on hand when I know my kids might need a little pick me up before we get home for dinner. Or even a little treat for days we have several errands back-to-back on a Saturday afternoon. One of my favorites from my childhood is Red Vines®, and I still love them today. I've even been known to hide a package in the center console of my car for my own snacking needs.

American Licorice Company, the 100-year-old makers of Red Vines®, looked at current on-the-go snacking trends to develop Fruit Vines® Bites, a new soft, chewy, fruity candy. Fruit Vines are poppable bite size pieces packed with your favorite fruit flavors, strawberry and cherry. Conveniently sized for easy snacking, Fruit Vines are also low-fat and preservative-free for guilt-free snacking. The resealable 10 oz. stand up bag allows for portion control and they also come in 2 oz. single-servings for quick trips and 5 oz. bags for sharing.

I was super excited to see the new Fruit Vines® Bites because sometimes it's nice to be able to just pop something in your mouth and go. And well, it's a little hard to do that with traditional the Red Vines®. Plus with the individual 2 oz. bags I can toss a couple in my purse for those times I forget to grab something on the way out the door.

If you could create a new flavor of Fruit Vines what would it be? I think I'd make them in peach!
