While
Valentine’s Day has traditionally been about flowers, cards and
chocolate, this year, the ultimate authority on record
breaking, Guinness World Records, is spotlighting the most swoon-worthy Valentine's Day record achievements.
In the spirit of the
season, we've compiled a heartfelt list that shows just how deep love
goes (32.8 ft below), how a bond between love birds can turn into a
marriage (86 years, 9 months, and 16 days to be precise), just how long
humans have been writing of their love (the oldest love poem dates back
to around 3500 BC) and many more.
But Valentine's Day isn't
just for lovers. Some folks will be shunning fancy dinners in favor of
attempting to do something "Officially Amazing"- by earning themselves
GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® glory.
