I opted to make some breakfast rolls (I call them that as I originally was going to make cinnamon rolls only to discover I was out of brown sugar and had to think fast on my feet).
Picture 1: Yeast in a bowl
Picture 2: Adding luke warm water to activate the yeast.
Picture 3: lightly flour the mat before kneading the dough
Picture 4: dough in a bowl after kneading
Picture 5: dough after it's had time to rise
Picture 6: dough rolled out 16 x 16
Picture 7: dough after filling has been spread on, rolled, and cut (I got so caught up in the process forgot to take a photo of the filling and roll)
Picture 8: The final result! Incase you are wondering I used a peanut butter filling in these since I didn't have the cinnamon roll ingredients needed. (Note to self, always read ahead don't wait until you are ready to start baking!)
As you can see from my simplified version of the baking process it's really pretty easy to make your very own at home recipes from the Auntie Anne's At Home Baking Kits. I think with my next kit I am going to try the monkey bread, it looks really good too!
Buy it: You can Purchase the At Home Baking Kit at your local Auntie Anne's or at these retailers.
