Back to School Prize Pack #2

First up is any pattern of your choice from Family Stitchery.  I can remember my mom and grandma making me all sorts of cute outfits when I was a child.  Of course somewhere between there and me the talent to sew got lost.  Luckily my mom still makes some really adorable things for my daughter.  She even makes things for her to match with her dolls and her barbies.

Family Stitchery carries handmade items and a huge selection of sewing patterns from the 1950's to present. We have baby patterns, boy patterns, girl patterns, womans dress, pants, shorts, top, jackets and more, wedding dress and formal dresses, mens clothes and accessories, swimsuits, and other craft related patterns.

Next up is a Cahootie of your choice. I remember making these out of notebook paper when I was in grade school. Writing things under them about liking someone and other silly stuff.  Well, now you can get your own Cahootie that comes with a sheet of preprinted sayings. We got the Girl Wonders Cahootie to review.  My daughter was already familiar with these as we had not long ago made one out of paper ourselves.  But of course she liked this one much better because it was bright and colorful, and of course a lot more sturdy.  I read all the little questions to her so she could pick the ones she wanted inside, then we applied the stickers.  She's been playing with it ever since then.  Of course being 5 once she gets to the inside words she has the person read their own questions, but she still enjoys it just as much.

Finally I have for you a Scratch & Sketch book of your choice, and a Compact Calendar of your choice from Peter Pauper Press. We received a few of the Scratch & Sketch books for our reviewing.  My kids went crazy over them.  Who knew trying to copy an image from one page onto the scratch art side could be so entertaining!  It's great they get to have fun scratching and sketching all the while learning about the picture they are trying to recreate.  There is some really great information in the America book. I'll be putting this one up after they are done with it, who knows when the little tid bits of information might come in handy for a school project! This has become one of my favorite places to shop for unique gifts for any occasion.  I've got one of their Mom's Weekly Planners on my desk right now. It helps keep me organized and on track with my busy day to day activities.  I've used a few of their specialized books for gifts too.
