About Beanfields Chips:
Welcome to Beanfields, where we do things a little differently. We believe great tasting snacks should also be good for you, good for our families, good for our farmers and good for the planet. To us it's all about nutritionally maximizing the calories we eat, without sacrificing taste. How do we do it? Beans!
We take wholesome and nutritious beans and blend them with long grain rice to create delicious snacks that are loaded with fiber and protein. In fact Beanfields Bean & Rice chips contain double the fiber and protein of most corn tortilla or potato chips.
One taste and you will rejoice knowing you have found a delicious alternative to the empty calorie snacks that fill the snack isle. Beanfields Snacks are farmed and made in the USA. They are gluten-free, cholesterol-free, trans fat-free, preservative-free and free of every one of the FDA's eight most common ingredients that trigger food allergies.

My Take:
When I saw the package I immediately thought ewe a chip made from beans? But I wanted to be open minded so I also thought yum a chip made of rice! We got a bag of the Sea Salt and the Pico de Gallo for our reviewing purposes. My husband opened the Sea Salt bag first, he thought they were a little on the bland side, so he pulled out the salsa bowl. He thought they were much better as a dipping chip than alone. I would have to agree, they were a little bland and made my mouth feel like it needed water. The Pico de Gallo on the other hand was a different story. I really liked the flavor of them, it had an almost salsa like appeal. I also like how the chips are a little thicker than most tortilla chips so when we used the Sea Salt ones in the salsa they didn't break when scooping. In our house we are used to snack chips being a little more bold than bland so the plain ones weren't as big a hit. I would definitely buy the Pico de Gallo chips again the flavor was excellent.
