About the iChair:
In designing iChair, we kept simplicity and functionality at the forefront of our strategy. Based out of Dallas, Texas and founded in 2010, iChair is the creation of a few crafty individuals who saw the need for a stand on their Apple devices. The passion that Apple consumers have for their devices inspires us here at iChair to design and develop revolutionary products that can change the way we all use our mobile devices. By producing quality cases, we know our passion and desire to make your life just a little easier will only continue to grow just as much as our love and appreciation of technology has. We are committed to providing excellence for all of our products, so we welcome you to visit us frequently and contact us anytime. We’re here for you – so just sit down and relax, and let your iDevice stand. Warm wishes, The iChair Team
The iChair gives you great protection against everyday wear and tear, but if you plan on throwing it against the wall or out your car window, then you’re pretty much out of luck.

My Take:
These are pictures of my iPod Touch fitted with my new iChair Case. I really like the look and feel of the case itself. It makes me feel a lot more comfortable about handing my iPod to my daughter (5) to play games on it. The case seems pretty strong and sturdy. I do wish however that it snapped together a bit more tightly. The case itself comes in two pieces you slide together from top and bottom. I can say it has never come off when using the iPod (even when my daughter dropped it) so I guess it is doing it's purpose as is. I like that you have the option of choosing your extra top piece color. You can get either white or blue. This makes it nice for households that have more than one device in use to differentiate between them without having to turn them on. It even comes with an extra screen protector which was a plus for me, mine was getting a bit scuffed up from my nails and my daughter playing with it. The cases are $34 each with free shipping which may seem a bit pricey to some, but if you ask me it's a small amount for protecting such a large investment. It does the job it claims to do and makes me feel a lot safer than when I had the old silicone cover on my iPod. And it has the extra "chair" feature that other cases don't offer. I like to leave my iPod standing up when I am charging it to keep it from getting warm on the backside, and my daughter likes to stand it up when she is watching a video on it. They also offer an iPad Case I imagine would be great for this also. If I had an iPhone I am sure I would use the "chair" feature often to keep my phone upright on my desk so I could see when I get phone calls who it is. The only tip I have is when using the chair tab on the back make sure you actually pull it out all the way, otherwise you'll be in for a surprise when you go to sit your electronic down and it falls...yes I did this myself!
