With a teenage son and an almost tween daughter it seems like I'm battling some sort of stain almost daily in my house. And that means I always have to be prepared. I'm sure if you have kids you know what I mean. There's always that occasion when that unexpected accident happens and they spill something on themselves, or trip and fall in the mud or wet grass. And as a mom I feel like it's my job to take care of those unforeseen accidents for them. It's almost like they think I'm a magic wizard at times when they come to me and say mom I need you to get this stain out. They've skipped asking "can you" and have automatically gone to assuming I can just do it. Thankfully I have a good partner on my side to help with those stains called Purex®. At any given time I have at least two different Purex® products sitting on the side of my washer. I use their Free and Clear version for my husband because he works in a factory that has many restrictions on laundry detergents and I know this one is safe. And for the rest of us, I tend to alternate depending on what I'm washing and what kind I have on hand.
Recently I had the opportunity to try out the new Purex® plus Clorox 2® detergent and I think it will definitely be one of my favorites for my kids clothes. It has the stain-fighting enzymes (that's the Clorox 2® part) right in the detergent so it fights them all the way through the washing cycle. I really like the results I've had so far with it and plan to keep on using it for their clothes because they seem to get them dirtier than I do. I love having a detergent I can turn to even for stains on colors and not have to worry about bleach discoloring them.

Normal Use
Follow washing machine instructions for adding detergent.
For Tough Stains
Pre-treat by applying some detergent directly to stains and rub into fabric. Allow formula to sit on stains for 5 minutes. For added power, use ¾ cap of detergent in wash.
