Now this is the type of delivery I like to see show up at my door. The fact that it arrived frozen didn't even slow me down from tearing open the package to grab out a slice. And thanks to the way Eli's packages it you can easily pull out one slice at a time and enjoy it anytime you like. I'm one that actually prefers my cheesecake to be a little on the frozen side still when I eat it, so I pull mine out just before I start eating dinner. It gives it a little different flavor, and it's like a totally different dessert than when it's completely thawed out. When frozen it's a little more solid and almost like an ice cream bar, and when thawed out it's more soft and creamy.
It may have been a little hard to tell with the wrapper still on it, but now I'm sure you can tell for sure that I got a delicious looking strawberry cheesecake. Strawberries are my favorite fruit by far and I love them plain and added to tons of foods. Of course cheesecake being my favorite "cake" is my idea of the perfect place for them. I love the way Eli's puts just the right amount of strawberry topping on their cheesecake so you get some with every bite. Plus if you eat it like I do (partially frozen) you can slice it really easy with a fork and the topping slices exactly where you want it.
See what I mean? There's oh so yummy strawberry topping perfectly on top of my bite of cheesecake. If you ask me you can't go wrong with a cheesecake from Eli's. They have so many great flavors (and combinations) to choose from there's got to be something the mom in your life would love.
