Is all that holiday shopping wearing you down?

I don't know about you but if I don't have my morning coffee I'm just not myself. That first cup, especially when the weathers cooler, just really gets me going. And if I have a full day of shopping ahead you best not try to get me to start it without that coffee. For as long as I can remember I've been a fan of the Folgers brand of coffee. I'm guessing it had something to do with growing up with a father that didn't drink anything but Folgers. They always have a nice variety of blends to choose from and I'm never left disappointed. And that was just the case with their newest line 1850™. Like their other lines it has the lighter roasts that I enjoy as well as the darker roasts that my husband enjoys. Perfect for those mornings I need to GET UP AND GO!

The 1850™ Brand Coffee was inspired by the pioneering history of J.A. Folger and is crafted for bold pursuits. The fire-roasted and steel-cut 100% Arabica beans create a deliciously bold, but smooth taste to help fuel pioneers of today.

Flavors:
Lantern Glow™ (Light Roast): Notes of lemongrass and jasmine tea with sweet, lemony undertones
Pioneer Blend (Medium Roast): A bold, balanced and smooth cup with hints of roasted nuts
Trailblazer (Medium-Dark Roast): Notes of strong roasted nu flavors with chocolate undertones
Black Gold (Dark Roast): A smooth cup, balanced with dark chocolaty notes and sweetness.

Speaking of getting up and going. Sometimes no matter how hard you try you just don't get up and moving quick enough to have a full breakfast. And that's when things like these new Cracker N’ Nut Butter Snack Bars from Honey Stinger come in super handy. I am not one to run around on a just coffee alone for very long, my tummy always ends up talking to me and demanding some sort of solid substance. These bars are great for tossing in your purse or bag on the way out the door for those pop-up hunger attacks.

Of course if you need a boost of energy Honey Stinger has you covered there too with their Organic Energy Gels and Organic Energy Chews. My husband likes to keep these in his drawer at work for long shifts. And they would also be great for those long days of shopping ahead!

Another great snack attack line from Honey Stinger is their Organic Waffles that even come in a Gluten Free version. They have a really nice assortment of flavor combinations that everyone will love.

Another great snacking idea are these Pistachio Chewy Bites from Setton Farms. Not only are they a great source of dietary fiber they also have a good serving of protein too. My husband likes to keep them in his jacket pocket to pop in his mouth when he's out hunting. He says he can suck on one and it lasts a long time. I think he's a little crazy, but he says it keeps him content when he's not really hungry, but has the temptation to snack when he's sitting for long periods. Might have to give it a try when I'm out Black Friday Shopping! Setton Farms has lots of great flavor combinations in their line so don't worry if you're not a fan of something in this one.

The good folks over at Chefman make grabbing a quick meal at home super easy with their 180 Grill + Panini Press. Use it flat and grill up a super juicy burger, or use it closed to grill up the perfect sandwich or panini. I love how quick I can grill up a burger or some chicken breast for a quick meal at home. So much better than hitting a fast food drive through at the end of the day. The grill-surfaces are coated with an easy-to-clean nonstick surface, and the grill is equipped with a dishwasher-safe drip tray making clean-up just as fast as using it!

When I'm cooking at home I like to use olive oil because it's so much healthier to use than traditional vegetable oils. I also like that it can be customized to make gifts too! Bet you didn't think of that one huh? I sure didn't until it was suggested to me by the nice folks over at Pompeian. With a few add-ins and an elegant bottle you have yourself a really fancy looking gift. And a gift that's from the heart because it was made at home with love.

Infused olive oils are easy to customize - fresh herbs, vegetables like chili peppers and spices make for perfect additions. Cover the ingredients with extra virgin olive oil and let the sealed bottle sit in a cool, dark place for 1 – 2 weeks as the flavors infuse into the oil.
