Making Dreams a Reality with Vera Bradly & Girl Starter

I've always been a big supporter of shows that support us ladies. I know everyone wants to believe it's a fair world out there and we have the same opportunities that men have, but lets be honest it doesn't always work that way. So when I heard about he new series Girl Starter I was pretty excited about checking it out. The first episode aired on 5-19 and I have to say it was everything I anticipated and more! Now I can't wait to see the next episodes to see how it all turns out.

Vera Bradley partners with the NEW TLC reality competition series Girl Starter, described as a blend of reality hits such as “Shark Tank,” “The Apprentice,” “Project Runway” and “American Idol,” produced by Al Roker’s production company (AL Roker Entertainment), the show is aimed at empowering young female entrepreneurs ages 18-24 and those interested in supporting their dreams.

The competition follows six steps of early phase business building, from ideation through pitch and features entertaining challenges, vibrant guest stars and a grand price of $100,000 in funding and services. The Girl Starter x Vera Bradley episodes will air (Fridays at 7pm EST on TLC) and features Vera Bradley Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer, Barbara Bradley Baekgaard as a guest judge.

If you caught the first episode and would like to shop for the winning bags you can do it online now! But you better hurry they are anticipated to sell out fast!
