Holiday Shoppers Can Help the 1 in 3 U.S. Families Suffering from Diaper Need

With the holidays in full swing it's time to start thinking about ways we can give back to those families in need. I try to always pick up extras to donate to toy drives and I participate in sponsoring a family for Christmas. I like to think that if it were me struggling that someone out there would help me out just the same.

For the fourth consecutive year, Huggies and Meijer have teamed up to empower local shoppers to give back and help families in need during the holiday season.

According to a Huggies 2010 study, one in three families nationwide struggle with diaper need – the inability to provide clean, dry diapers for their child. Beginning this week, as part of the Huggies No Baby Unhugged program, shoppers can help these families by purchasing a pack of Huggies at any Meijer store through January 2, 2017.

For every pack of Huggies purchased, Meijer will donate $1 and Huggies will donate a day’s worth of diapers to the National Diaper Bank Network to help ensure babies throughout the Midwest receive the hugs they need in the form of diapers.

So make sure if you're already purchasing Huggies diapers that you do it at Meijer so you too can be a part of helping diaper all those sweet babies in need!
