I was sent a Gorton's package recently so I could go try some of their awesome seafood products with my family. They have so many to choose from: Fish Sticks, Crunchy Breaded Fish Fillets, Crispy Battered Fish Fillets, Original Batter Tenders, Beer Battered Tenders, Potato Crunch Fish Fillets, Lemon Herb Fish Fillets and NEW Fish Sandwich Fillets to name a few. I decided I would be adventurous and try something new besides the usual fish sticks or popcorn shrimp. So I went with the Skillet Crisp Tilapia and the Potato Crunch Fish Fillets. I invited some friends over and cooked up both boxes along with some steamed veggies and rolls. Everyone was very pleased with the flavor of both varieties. I'd have to say the Tilapia was my favorite of the two though.
I think when I make my next trip to the store I am going to get some of the fish sticks though so I can try this cool recipe:
1. Prepare Gorton’s Crunchy Golden Fish Sticks according to package instructions.
2. Spread 1 tsp cream cheese along tops of cooked stick, place olive on top to resemble ‘finger’ and serve immediately.
Keep up with Gorton's
