Disney Princess Party #DisneyPrincessWMT

For our princess party we decided to make it a big event and do it at our Daisy Scout meeting. All of the girls were so excited when they came in and saw their table decorated for the party. They couldn’t wait to see what all fun things we had planned for them.

There were necklaces on the tables for each girl to make herself sparkle. Of course every princess has to have beautiful jewels.

I had each girl come up one at a time and dress up in princess attire for her photo to be taken. Complete with tiara and sparkling wand. I took one basic picture of them and one using the Disney Princess Augmented Reality App.  I gave them their choice of the picture in the dress or in the carriage. Then each girl got to choose a piece of Disney Princess themed candy and go work on their frames. While we were doing the pictures I asked each girl who their favorite princess was and I couldn't believe how many girls voted for Cinderella. I think she won well over all the others.

The girls all got to decorate their very own royal frame that will hold their individual pictures. I’m planning on printing their pictures and bringing them along with the frames back to the next meeting. I am going to give it to the girls along with princess cups and mini wands I’m picking up at the same time at Walmart.

After we finished up the frames we had “royal cupcakes” as we called them. Individual cakes with white icing and sprinkles. The girls were very excited and ate them up fast!

We finished off the party with the “circle squeeze” which is the way scout pass around a handshake. We spiced it up by having each girl say their favorite Disney Princess before the passed on the squeeze to the next girl.  What an amazing time we all had. As we were walking out I heard several girls telling their parents how much fun they had at the princess party and how they wanted to play the Disney Princess game so they could make their own carriages and princess outfits.

You can see my entire trip preparing for the party as well as pictures from the Disney Princess app through my Google+ album.
