Day Out With Thomas The Train - Leader of the Track Tour 2011

This past Saturday we had the opportunity to spend the day at the Whitewater Valley Railroad in Connersville, IN as part of the Day Out With Thomas: Leader of the Track Tour 2011. I feel so blessed that we had this wonderful opportunity. A big THANK YOU goes out to the Whitewater Valley Railroad and Day Out With Thomas.
There were Thomas-themed activities at the Imagination Station, including stamps, temporary tattoos and hands-on arts and crafts. Video and story-time indoors, putt-putt golf, pony rides, barrel rides, a bounce house, live music/entertainment, and lots of food!

There were even photo-ops with Sir Topham Hatt and Thomas himself! We spent the morning and early afternoon enjoying all of the extra activities before settling in for a 3:45 pm train ride.
Someone was a little worn after all the activities so she opted to "chill out" on the train.  Luckily the train wasn't packed full and we could spread out a little. We even managed to ride in the front car and see Thomas's blue through the front door!

It couldn't have been a better day, we all had a great time and were ready to crash by the end of the day. I can't wait to do it again next year it was so much fun. I love seeing the kids have fun and laughing.
